Are you an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney looking for a part-time schedule and better work-life balance? Our client, a respected and well-established defense firm, is seeking a talented attorney to join their growing team on a part-time basis.

About the Role :

This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys the strategy and advocacy of workers’ compensation defense but prefers a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling all aspects of WC defense matters — from case evaluation through resolution.

Responsibilities :

Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation defense files

Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings (as needed)

Prepare and respond to discovery, motions, and correspondence

Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel

Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active license in NY and in good standing

Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense

Excellent communication and time management skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently
