Our client, a leading organization in the utility and infrastructure sector, is seeking a procurement consultant to join their team. As a procurement consultant, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Columbus, Ohio - Onsite.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-value and complex procurement needs.

Lead and facilitate sourcing events with multiple business stakeholders, primarily for technology-based software and hardware solutions.

Negotiate contracts, including pricing, terms, and risk mitigation strategies.

Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, and risk management activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement aligns with business objectives and category strategies.

Proven RFP sourcing experience, including redlining and contract negotiations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively.

Experience facilitating sourcing events involving multiple stakeholders.

Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including cross-functional team collaboration.
