Job Overview
We are seeking a Construction Safety Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Area Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to provide support in implementing and enforcing our safety and health procedures.
The position covers multiple project sites in Nevada, California, and Hawaii, hence frequent travel is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a divisional Safety and Health Program that exceeds corporate requirements.
- Ensure timely reporting of statistical data to corporate.
- Manage administrative tasks related to safety documentation, filing systems, and more.
- Act as a resource for field operations on company safety program and federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Assist in organizing Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings and new hire orientations.
- Conduct regular site evaluations, follow up on deficiencies, and track corrective actions.
- Participate in Tool Box Talks and safety discussions.
- Assist in incident investigations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Risk Management to identify claims trends and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Deliver and document employee training related to their specific roles.
- Utilize our online safety platform to track company safety KPIs.
- Extensive regional travel is mandatory.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or possess equivalent experience.
- Possess at least 5 years of field safety experience in the Construction Industry.
- Have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety and management techniques.
- Thorough understanding of company programs and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Skills and Certifications
- Hold CHST certification
- Completed OSHA 510
