Digital Training Facility Manager
ProSidian seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager to support an engagement for a training directorate of the USG that supports training and readiness of active and reserve military and personnel through planning, facilitating, managing, recording and assessing training. This DoD / Military Sector Role is a W-2 Employee Labor Category Position located at or near Sacramento, CA - CONUS | AC / RC : RC | ACOM : USARC.
This service supports DoD / Military Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements) and ProSidian Team Members work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category : Digital Training Facility Manager) to fulfill FFP - Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements and to serve as a Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM].
A Digital Training Facility (DTF) is a computer lab located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide The DTFM provides management and oversight at / for the assigned DTF. Units use DTFs to conduct training that improves individual and unit readiness. Using high-speed internet access, computer based training and Video Tele-Training (VTT) equipment, soldiers and civilians can train when it fits their professional needs and personal schedules.
As a training asset, DTFs are ideal for Section, squad, or platoon size elements. They can maximize training dollars and reduce TDY costs while providing :
- Various ways to support your unit requirements through onsite instruction, online courses and VTT (at selected sites)
- A classroom environment with Internet access for Resident Instructors
- Access to annual mandatory training, such as Information Assurance, Anti- Terrorism, Suicide Prevention, Composite Risk Management,
- Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Training
- Access to Army Learning Management System (ALMS)
- Access to Army e-Learning and Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) courses
- Real-time, interactive instruction, such as Battle Staff, Master Driving Training, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Course, TAMIS, MEDCOM, AMEDD, EMD Refresher, and more via VTT (at selected sites)
- Pre- and Post-Mobilization Training (PPMT), such as SERE 100.1
- Access to subject matter experts around the world
- Gaming for training, such as Virtual Battle Space 3. Available only at select DTFs
The Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] regularly interfaces with various stakeholder personnel, the Section, squad, or platoon leadership, and the Technology Resources Directorate(s) to ensure The Digital Training Facility (DTF) at the assigned installation are offering a consistent high level systems access and instruction tools / facilities / assets and collaborating with all network DTFM's in other campus locations.

Shall schedule and manage the use of Digital Training Facilities (DTF's) and provide hands-on assistance to the Enterprise Management System (EMS) staff for their assigned location. Shall also take a leading role in operating the required hands-on equipment and recording on-site operations for the project.
Additionally, this individual must support the oversight of their assigned DTF, as they follow EMS directions to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers as well as verify the operation of hardware and software in the DTFs for their respective location assigned, all in accordance to the Program and / or Deputy Program Manager of operations.
As the person with ultimate responsibility for technology and services in the Digital Training Facility (DTF), this position manages DTF equipment, including inventory and recommendations for procurement, and partners with the Section, squad, or platoon leadership in developing and deploying computer images and configurations.
Responsibilities include the following :
Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.Coordinating facility maintenance and Interacting with Enterprise Management System (EMS) TechniciansAdherence with EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers as well as verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFsMaintenance of facility security, operating equipment, the assistance of students in using assets provided in DTFsMonitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at their site locationsPartners with other appropriate entities to create secure lab environments.Performing with hands-on equipment, operation, and on-site operationsProvides appropriate metrics and reports to designated Management, Section Leadership, and Stakeholder Staff.Provides server and application support and maintenance. Responsible for superior customer interactions in and on behalf of The DTF.Reporting the operational status of the DTF(s) to the appropriate chain of command and Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC)Scheduling the use of their respective DTFs as well as providing hands-on assistance to the Product Manager (PdM) Army Training Information System (ATIS) and Enterprise Management System (EMS) staffScheduling training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC)Qualifications : Experience :
