12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate : $30-$35 / hr

The ideal User Experience Designer will be given the opportunity to support the highly collaborative Customer IT team, focusing on product design, UX / UI design, service design, content design, and user research.

Additionally, this team focuses on our client’s chatbox platform, billing and payment, outage management, voice of customer platform, and 20+ projects / product teams in need of content, service, and UI / UX design.

The selected User Experience Designer will be able to work autonomously and be eager to learn and grow in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience with product design, UX / UI design, content design, and / or user research.
• Must have a portfolio of design work to share during interviews.
• Interested in working with a front-end customer-facing product.
• Interest in working with design tools like Sketch and Figma.
• Interest in working with an agile work management tool like Azure DevOps or Confluence.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Innately curious and eager to work in Innovation.
• Excellent communication skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
• Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities Include :

• Support the design process to be data-driven
• Support our client’s design team on branding.
• Hands-on project-facing work for various initiatives across our client’s design team.
• Collaborate with the product teams to make sure the design process is driven by UX
• Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards, and policies. Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
• Ideate, design, and develop process and technology improvements such as process or test automation.
• Independently meet with business groups involved in miscellaneous projects.
