Job descriptionCollaborating with partners and senior attorneys on litigation and client counseling matters involving employment matters, investigations, student discipline, special education, and much more Problem solving day-to-day issues with public and private education institutions Performing legal research Drafting pleadings and motions Drafting / reviewing / responding to discovery requests Responding to administrative agency complaints Assist with client training and professional development Missouri license required Additional Illinois license preferred 2-5 years of experience Interest and / or experience in education law, employment law, and public sector law Exceptional research and writing skills Ability to develop and present well-reasoned legal arguments Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) Aptitude for public speaking Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Strong work ethic Salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k).

Salary / Payrate : $$85,000 to $105,000, depending on years of experience
Work Environment : Hybrid
Term : Permanent / Fulltime
Bachelor’s degree required : Yes
Juris Doctrine : Yes
Law Licenses : Yes, in the state of Missouri or Illinois
Referral Fee : AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired
- Must have a bar license in the state of Missouri or Illinois
