Senior Project Engineer – Water / Wastewater

About the Role
We’re partnered with one of the region’s most respected and rapidly growing Water / Wastewater General Contractors to find a Senior Project Engineer for a major project based in San Francisco .
This is a key role leading the mechanical efforts on a high-profile W / WW project. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and the drive to progress into a Project Management role within 12 months .
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Support the Project Manager in planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Collaborate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep the project moving smoothly.
- Review technical drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
Requirements
2–6 years of experience in Water / Wastewater construction .Strong understanding of mechanical systems and large-scale infrastructure projects.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.What’s on Offer
