Corrpro Companies is looking for an AMPP CP Certified Corrosion Engineer III for our hybrid position based out of our Yorba Linda, California office.
Corrpro is the largest US corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, gas utilities, government agencies, municipal water, sewer utilities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field required
- EIT preferred
- AMPP / NACE CP Technician or Technologist Certification required
- 5 years related Cathodic Protection survey and design experience
- Must have strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong team and internal customer service skills required
- Must be able to travel regionally, as needed

Plan and perform more complex engineering design duties for cathodic protection system projectsReview preliminary data, discuss objectives and expectations, and suggest appropriate engineering methods and proceduresPrepare engineering designs, specifications, and reportsPlan and schedule activities for efficient utilization of resourcesEstablish crews and assign work based on complexity of tasks and individual capacitiesProvide technical supervision and technical assistance to other divisions within the companyCoordinate engineering aspects of installation processSupervise and / or perform tests required to determine condition of soil, water, underground or submerged structuresDirect the preparation of field drawings; determine design modifications required by unanticipated structural features, etc.Supervise and participate in post installation surveyCoordinate interference testing and bonding required with client and affected companiesEnsure proper application of methods and procedures, modify as appropriatePerform economic evaluations of alternative methods of cathodic protection and corrosion controlAssist in cost estimation and detailed proposal developmentAzuria Water Solutions Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
