The Data and Analytics Intern will be part of the Data & Analytics team in Financial Management Reporting and will contribute to various projects, including data quality assurance, data modeling, and designing PowerBI dashboards. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and have a strong interest in data analysis.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in designing and implementing data solutions (e.g. PowerBi Dashboards)
• Collaborate with finance specialists, actuaries, and accountants to understand data requirements and deliver data analytics solutions that meet business needs
• Assist in data quality checks and validation processes
• Create documentation of processes, data models, and infrastructure configurations

Qualifications :

• Preferred Majors : Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial Science
• Accepted Majors : Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics
• Grade Level : rising undergraduate Senior
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Data analysis skills, including data visualization and interpretation
• Familiarity with database concepts and data modeling
• Basic programming skills in Python and SQL
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and databases

This role will be based in Princeton, NJ or NYC, New York. The base range for this internship will be $22-$24 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in NYC. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
