The Opportunity

The Analytics team plays a critical role in how we understand our customers and achieve our mission to help people get their best sleep. We are a rapidly growing team that uses data to uncover actionable insight, empower our stakeholders to make better business decisions, and identify opportunities to improve our products and user experience.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our analytics capabilities. You'll design data models, implement quality frameworks, and create scalable pipelines that transform raw data into trusted, curated datasets. This is a high-impact role that must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST / PDT hours.

What you'll do

Within 3 months

• Build a comprehensive understanding of our data architecture, sources, and downstream consumption patterns
• Implement dbt models to transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets for analytics consumption
• Partner with Engineering to optimize data collection and pipeline performance
• Support product analytics initiatives by creating dashboards and conducting ad hoc analysis
