Manager Role

This manager is responsible for achieving team sales goals within a defined southeastern geographic area, possibly in Florida, including the city proper and a 75-mile radius. As the primary level sales manager, the person in this position is also responsible for the day-to-day activities of the field sales organization, including the inside and outside sales representatives. The person will work out of their home office with up to 60% travel required, and a company car is provided. The ideal candidate will be located in the market of Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or Miami.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals.
  • Review and approve or reject sales agreements based on factors such as profitability.
  • May have direct selling responsibility in key accounts.
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience. Must have an understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses.
  • Must be able to manage the work of team members to optimize performance.
  • Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Compensation And Benefits

    Compensation : This is a salaried exempt role. This position includes a base salary, commission, and an incentive plan. The compensation range for this role is $150,400 to $197,400, comprising 75% base salary and 25% commission, with additional incentives and an uncapped commission structure. Compensation is based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education.

    Benefits : Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role : tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

    Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to : 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
