Maintenance Repairer

Supervises : Mechanics

Summary : The Maintenance Manager will manage the everyday operation and upkeep of the equipment and building, planning and implementing projects and safety issues within and around the plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preventive maintenance.
• Identifies equipment malfunction, generates work orders, determines proper repair procedures and assigns appropriate personnel to accomplish the task.
• Documents results based on schedule and priority.
• Ensures emergency response and repair.
• Assists mechanics as needed.
• Maintains equipment files, inventory and manages the purchase and / or re-supply of components as necessary to complete assigned projects.
• Works with outside machine vendors, as necessary, to acquire fabricated parts.
• Completes regulatory paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Resolve problems through effective communication.
• Ensures compliance and safety and communicates with management and staff as necessary.
• Maintains inventory control system.
• Administrator to CMMS System Maintain X. Approves all PMs and W.Os completed by Maintenance Staff.
• Trains all users on the use of the System.
