Job description

Service Advisor - Bayway Cadillac Southwest (Houston, TX)

Bayway Cadillac Southwest is hiring a driven Service Advisor to own the customer experience from write-up to delivery. You'll be the link between our clients and our technicians-setting expectations, building trust, and ensuring every repair order is accurate, clear, and complete.

What You'll Do

Greet customers, capture concerns, verify warranty / insurance, and build accurate estimates and timelines

Schedule appointments, manage repair order flow, and coordinate with technicians for precise repair descriptions

Conduct walk-around inspections, verify concerns with test drives, and present maintenance / repair options professionally

Communicate status updates, approve work, and set pick-up times; review final invoices and next-service recommendations

Ensure parts availability and RO accuracy; maintain CSI standards and follow dealership processes without exception

Use dealership systems (DMS / dispatch / scheduling) to document, price, and close ROs with zero surprises for the customer

What You Bring

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of automotive systems and dealership service operations

Proficiency with industry software (DMS and online schedulers); fast, accurate typing and documentation

Organizational discipline : you manage a busy lane, multiple ROs, and strict timelines

Team mindset : you work seamlessly with techs, parts, and management to hit goals

Preferred Background

Prior service advisor / writer experience in a dealership or high-volume shop

ASE C1 Service Consultant or OEM training a plus (not required)

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
