Position Information
Posted Range : $68,640 to $114,600 annually The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education, and / or experience. Primary Role
Supervises the day-to-day water operations in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all applicable governmental laws and regulations. This supervisor will be responsible for managing the field service reps that will go to the customer's houses for appointments, meter changes, work loads, etc.
Key Accountabilities
Knowledge / Skills
Knowledge of the regulated water business and the regulations impacting the business is preferred. Knowledge of process and operational areas.
Experience / Education
Bachelors Degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 2-5 years experience in operations is preferred. Must possess valid drivers license. Certifications / Training in Safety preferred. Previous experience leading people is preferred. Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems. Highly skilled in using technology to manage information, complete reports, and support daily operations.
Travel Requirements
Local and occasional regional travel around central New Jersey. 70% Office 30% Field work. M-F shift with on-call responsibilities.
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor environment. 24 / 7 operations. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time. Lift minimum 25lbs. Occasional hands on work required.
