Currently seeking a CNC Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Warren, RI. A great opportunity to work with a company that cares for their employees and has team building outings that makes everyone feel like family.
Responsibilities of CNC Operator :
- Set-up and operate CNC Lathes
- Load and unload materials onto machines
- Adjust settings as needed to maintain specifications
- Maintain all necessary documentation
- Utilize metrology equipment to inspect faces, heights and diameters
- Perform routine maintenance
- Trouble shoot and solve problems or issues that may arise
- Follow blueprints, work orders, and machining instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements of CNC Operator :
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3+ years CNC operating experience
- Past experience operating high speed, manual, or semi-automatic production machinery
- Familiarity with G&M codes
- Experience with GD&T
- Set-up or programming experience a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in measuring tool
Hours : 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm OR 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm Monday -Friday with possibility of overtime
Pay Rate : $18.00 / hr
