Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Supervision :

• Lead engaging roller skating lessons and activities, ensuring high-quality instruction.
• Supervise and support students during class, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Assist with setup, gear checks, and maintaining a safe skating environment.

Scheduling & Coordination :

• Arrive on time and prepared for lessons / events.
• Communicate with leadership about availability, scheduling, and any coverage needs.
• Participate in staff trainings and program events when scheduled.

Customer & Staff Relations :

• Foster a welcoming, encouraging, and positive environment for children and families.
• Communicate with parents professionally and with care.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to deliver a consistent program experience.

Qualifications

Required :

• Strong roller skating knowledge and ability to demonstrate basic to intermediate skills.
• First Aid & CPR certification (American Red Cross preferred).
• Outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and reliability.

Preferred :

• Coursework or credits in childhood education.
• Skills in organization, social media, or content creation.

Position Details

• Availability : Part-time; weekends required.
• Compensation : $20 / hour + performance-based bonuses.
