Job Title : Supply Chain Specialist (Contract)

Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planning. In this role, you will support supply chain operations by executing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to meet business and customer needs. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and serve as a key point of contact for supplier coordination, engineering change support, and issue resolution.
Essential Functions :
Systems Knowledge
- Issue suggested purchase orders based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system recommendations and customer demand.
- Request changes to purchase order dates from suppliers as needed, based on updates in demand or MRP system prompts.
- Maintain accurate expected inventory records in the MRP system to ensure clear visibility across teams.
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Issue purchase orders to support engineering changes and ensure alignment with updated requirements.
Customer Management
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on procurement status and any supply-related issues.Communicate supply constraints and work to drive timely resolutions in coordination with internal teams.Support and coordinate the implementation of engineering changes between suppliers and internal customers.Supplier Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase orders.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and product availability.Challenge and escalate price increase requests from suppliers when necessary.Act as the primary contact for suppliers on SICR (Supplier-Initiated Change Request) and Change Order tracking and prioritization.Hold suppliers accountable to committed shipment plans and delivery timelines.Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.1–2 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.Proficiency with PCs and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word).Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred :
Familiarity with MRP systems and procurement processes.Experience in supplier management and change order coordination.
