Overview

Position : Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist - Los Angeles, CA

Location : 300 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045

Schedule : 8 hr shift between hours of 6am-9pm, up to 3x / wk until 9pm

Compensation : Starting at $33-$36 / hr, Commensurate with experience

Employer : Select Physical Therapy

This is an onsite contract with a large airline at LAX. The program operates 7 days / week and is a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist / ATC role in an industrial setting. The facility supports OSHA First Aid and injury prevention initiatives and collaborates with the on-site team and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time on-site coverage for an industrial client under the direction of the Account / Program Manager
  • Delivery of the full continuum of on-site injury prevention services at the assigned location, including :

Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury / discomfort

  • Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
  • Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching
  • Job coaching and behavior modification one-on-one and in group settings
  • Education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
  • Office ergonomics
  • Health and wellness consultation
  • Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
  • Regular communication with client and Select leadership

    • Qualifications

  • BS Degree Required
  • NATA-BOC Board of Certification
  • Eligible for state license
  • Minimum one year experience; industrial setting experience is a plus
  • CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
