Responsibilities include: - Engineer solutions.
- Research new equipment.
- Serve as SME for “advanced technologies”.
- Create schematics, elevations, and other deliverable plans.
- Work with contractors on job costing.
- Review proposed solutions with Project Managers and Field Teams.
- Serve as level two escalation point for technical assistance for field team.
- Working with Sales Engineering and Delivery team in support of deployment efforts.
- Provide detailed project delivery documentation.
Qualifications and experience: - Experience in designing and engineering complicated integrated AV rooms.
- Deep understanding of complex customer requirements.
- Extensive knowledge and familiarity with building construction, the ability to create, read and understand construction documents, plans, and specifications is critical.
- Possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with PC office tools, such as: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, integrity, and flexibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent and three to five years of relevant work experience or degree in a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an audio/visual Engineering role.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Advanced time management and analytical skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement process.
- Methodical and highly organized.

- Avixa CTS Certification
- QSC Q-Sys Certification
