FINANCE DIRECTOR

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the CEO, oversees the financial functions of the Hospital including General Accounting, Budgeting and Special Projects, Third Party Reimbursement, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Reviews the financial performance of all units, and provides guidance on accounting policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains relationships with regulatory agencies and financial institutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Finance or as evidenced by having attained CPA certification
• Eight to ten years of financial management experience including experience in the healthcare industry and at the senior management level.
• Advanced analytical / problem solving skills necessary to develop and administer complex fiscal services and activities, develop overall policies and procedures for the organization, and critically and constructively analyze hospital operations.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of hospital and corporate personnel and other external parties, frequently in situations that are sensitive and / or significant to the Hospital.
• Managerial skills necessary to plan, organize, direct and control a critically important division and effectively delegate responsibilities to qualified subordinates.
