The Nordstrom Beauty Counter Manager plays a dual role - part salesperson, part teacher - while maximizing sales in their assigned beauty brand. Ideal candidates are results-oriented and thrive in a commissioned sales environment, are passionate about beauty trends and can build a customer following both in-store and digitally.

A day in the life includes :

• Conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommending products based on customers' beauty goals
• Collaborating with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
• Setting and achieving personal and counter sales goals, utilizing both in-store and digital selling tools (inclusive of text and social media)
• Managing the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
• Keeping the department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness
• Keeping up with the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and luxury brand partners
• Managing sales, refunds, exchanges, and building customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts

Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $21.70 - $22.60 Hourly This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives / bonuses.
