Salary : $71,000-$118,200

This position will be responsible for working in a team environment, geared toward the Research, Develop and Engineer technologies for software and weapon systems.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Weapons and Software Engineering Center. Duties include :

• Provide experience with mechanical engineering support for the development of individual weapon components
• Support all aspects of design, prototype, testing and manufacturing
• Ability to work hands-on and collaborate with machine shop for prototyping
• Prepare designs using 3D CAD(Creo) modeling software
• Document designs using the Armys design standards and GD&T
• Write test plans and work closely with testing groups
• Develop and present reports
• Work with manufacturing teams to develop functional prototypes
• Be able to support mature designs currently in production
• This position requires travel up to 25%
