The role you'll contribute :
\n \n\n \n
Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care in the assigned nursing unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with Division of Nursing standards.
\n \n\n \n

Responsible for assisting the charge nurse and / or primary nurse with patient care throughout the department as assigned
\n \n
Assists and coordinates the immediate off-load of patients arriving via EMS with the primary nurse and / or charge nurse
\n \n
Collaborates with the primary nurse to assist in the implementation of appropriate physician orders to expedite patient care
\n \n
Obtains specimens within a timely manner of arrival
\n \n
Promptly notifies the physician and / or primary nurse of untoward changes in a patients condition
\n \n
Monitors cardiac / telemetry status and vital functions of all patients
\n \n\n \n
Qualifications
\n \n\n \n

BCLS - Basic Life Support
\n \n
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
\n \n
EMT - Emergency Medical Tech
\n \n\n \n
