Journeyman Plumber
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber with over five years of commercial plumbing experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial new construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial new construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct inspections and tests of plumbing systems to identify and repair leaks or issues.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced plumbers.
- Document accurate records of materials used, work performed, and hours worked.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by project management.
- Track and report any issues or discrepancies in project plans or timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any plumbing issues that arise during or after the construction process.
- Recommend improvements or modifications to plumbing systems and processes.
Essential Skills
5+ years of commercial plumbing experience.Skilled in all aspects of commercial plumbing construction including blueprint reading and comprehension.Ability to assess, diagnose, and apply the correct solution towards a multitude of plumbing issues.Confidence in the ability to work independently.Ability to follow and understand technical instructions.Proficient in Tenant Improvement (TI) work on existing commercial buildings.Expertise in plumbing construction for new commercial buildings, major re-pipe and renovation skills, and tilt-ups new construction.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in using construction tools such as impact drills, hand tools, turbo torch, snap & cut cast iron.Ability to pipe a system and solder.Experience in pipe removal, repair, fitting, and all aspects of pipe work.Ability to track and stock inventory of parts.Skill in reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work will be conducted at commercial job sites across the valley, during the first shift from 5am to 2 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00 / hr.
