Job Summary :
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Plumbers!
Are you ready for a new challenge? The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is on the lookout for an experienced Plumber to join our team at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Perryville. In this role, you will plan and direct the work of inmate crews, taking responsibility for the tools and equipment assigned to plumbing tasks. You will repair plumbing and related issues within the facility, ensuring seamless operation. Your duties will also include performing general facility maintenance and construction tasks, as well as conducting preventative maintenance on water heaters, toilets, urinals, and all plumbing fixtures.

Job Duties :
- Cleans small and large sewer drains along with repairing toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, and boilers
- Installs plumbing fixtures, plumbing drains, and water lines
- Conducts general maintenance as instructed by supervisors
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) ).
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
