The Escrow Closer is responsible for coordinating and executing real estate closing transactions. This role involves preparing closing documents ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements, and working closely with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth closing process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and prepare closing documents for residential or commercial real estate transactions.
- Balance settlement statements / CDs and ensure accurate disbursement of funds.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to collect required documents and signatures.
- Ensure all documents are properly signed and notarized, and recorded.
- Handle incoming and outgoing wires in compliance with security procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete escrow files and transaction records.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to the closing process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local real estate laws as well as company policies.
- Disburse escrow funds according to the terms of the agreement,
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients and other partners.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.2+ years of experience in escrow, title, or real estate closings.Familiarity with escrow procedures, real estate documents, and title insurance.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Notary Public commission.Preferred Qualifications
State Title License PreferredKnowledge of the Qualia platform is a plusWorking Conditions
