We are assisting a client with a need for a Quality Manager.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
- Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
- Responsible for Leading and developing the Quality Assurance Laboratory functions.
- Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
- Work cooperatively with the manufacturing, engineering, and R&D to achieve goals and accomplish key projects
- Oversee daily, monthly, and annual reporting on quality KPIs as well as maintain accurate records in ERP system. Continuously, improve SAS’s ERP system functionality to simplify and automate processes.
- Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
- Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
- Establish and lead the continuous improvement quality process. Put processes in place to take measurements, interpret data and drive improvement.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Achieve and then maintain ISO certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years' relevant work experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication; written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
- Manufacturing and QC experience required
