In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the worlds information. Were responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. The BaseOS team is focused on ensuring that Android Laptops and Tablets provide the best value for productivity and consumption, through a worry-free, cloud-first design. As Group Product Manager, Laptops and Tablets OS, you will lead a team of talented and motivated Product Managers, and work closely with hardware and software engineering teams, other Product Managers, marketing, data scientists, operations, partner management, business development, external device manufacturers, and device brands. You will engage with teams across the OS technology stack and weigh investments based on business and user needs. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Googles various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first-party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our users interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
