We offer 202 rooms and the finest in luxury hotel services and amenities right on the water's edge of Lake Mendota. What We Accomplish Together
If you enjoy displaying your exceptional customer service skills while interacting with a wide variety of guests daily, the Valet position is the job for you.
The Valet plays an important role of ensuring that all guests are greeted in a friendly, professional, and welcoming way.
As a Valet, you will escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations while transporting their luggage.
You will be familiar with the property, guest room features and amenities. This role will also maintain the valet operation of the hotel for overnight, day and event guests.
The Edgewater demands the highest quality of customer service, and the Valet position reflects that as you are often times the first person they meet upon their arrival.

What You Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a clean driving record and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Previous guest service experience. Experience within a hospitality role is a plus.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
- The physical ability to carry out all job duties efficiently, such as the ability to stand and move throughout the property while continuously performing essential job functions along with bending, stopping, kneeling, running, and walking significant distance on property.
- Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to grasp, lift, and / or carry boxes and luggage up to 50 pounds continuously throughout shift.

- A flexible schedule to accommodate our night, weekend and holiday availability.
Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional office environment. The role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The role also requires you to work both indoors and outdoors, and frequently operate motor vehicles. This position requires night and weekend work.
