Job Summary :

In this role, you will be responsible for performing CT scans in compliance with standards set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and departmental policies. Your knowledge of human anatomy and patient care will be essential as you produce high-quality scans across a diverse patient demographic, from neonates to geriatrics.

  • Perform CT exams ensuring optimal diagnostic quality.
  • Efficiently operate CT scanner and related equipment.
  • Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in scanning challenging patient cases and adapting techniques as required.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and assist radiologists during procedures.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any issues promptly.
  • Qualifications :

  • One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • Preferred one year of experience performing CT procedures.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with coursework in CT.
  • Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Certification in Radiology and CT by the ARRT is required within 6 months of assignment.
