About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 30 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; first-timers accepted with strong experience

License : Indiana State Licensure required; pending licenses accepted if active by start date

Certifications : RRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS required

Must-Have :

• Experience in drawing arterial blood gases
• Experience in Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Titration, Vent Management, and Oxygen Therapy
• Charting system experience, preferably Cerner

Description :

This position is for a Respiratory Therapist specializing in critical care.

The role involves providing respiratory care for patients across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

You will work nights for three consecutive 12-hour shifts.

You must be flexible to work every other weekend and be available for two holidays during the contract period.

There is no call or floating requirement.

Candidates should possess strong skills in managing ventilators and delivering emergency respiratory care.

Experience with specific equipment such as Draeger and Servo 1 is highly preferred.

You will be part of a team that provides care for a daily varied census of patients, aiming for around 15 to 18 patients every four hours.

Professional conduct is of utmost importance, and issues relating to unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs will be taken seriously and may result in contract termination.

Complete up to eight hours of modules within one week of signing for the contract.

You will need to comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, with medical or religious exemptions considered.
