Salary range : $70-90k, depending upon experience. Hybrid position- Mon-Wed required in office.

Responsibilities

Job Summary : As a Senior Accountant, you will support various aspects of our accounting management process by playing a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with official guidelines. You will be responsible for assisting with journal entries, account reconciliations, and contributing to the monthly close and reporting cycle. Your involvement in budget preparation, audit preparation, and the development of management reports will be crucial in maintaining the financial integrity of the company. By utilizing our accounting IT systems, you will facilitate streamlined processes and help maintain accurate financial records.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Support the Monthly Close and Reporting Cycle including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Research and analyze P&L trends and document variance explanations.
• Address inquiries and provide explanations regarding financial matters.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Provide backup coverage for daily cash recording.
• Support FP&A team in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
• Support annual income tax return preparation for multiple entities.
• Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
• Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
• Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.
