Position Overview
Our client is seeking a
Field Technician
to perform inspections and light maintenance on telecommunication towers and related structures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, traveling, and contributing to the reliability of critical communications systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of telecommunication structures, mounts, foundations, and associated equipmentClimb and assess towers safely, following company and industry safety protocolsPrepare detailed inspection reports summarizing findings and recommendationsFollow a rotating 10-on / 4-off schedule :7 days in the field conducting inspections3 days in the office completing reports, ongoing training, project planning, and supporting other departmentsSecondary Responsibilities
Perform minor tower maintenance and light construction tasks using hand and power toolsAssist with rigging and other structural field activitiesSupport engineering and service teams on special projects requiring on-site assistanceQualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent time management and organizational abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailComfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor conditionsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordAble to manage multiple projects under tight deadlinesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or related discipline preferred (not required)NDT Level II or III certification is highly desirableBenefits
