Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a global manufacturing client to find a full-time Prototype Model Maker in the Nashville, TN area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and assemble prototype models using manual machining tools such as lathes, mills, and welders.
- Serve as a hands-on partner to engineers during the product testing phase and ensure tests are executed correctly and on time.
- Build units based on technical blueprints or verbal instructions
- Set up and run tests on prototype products to check performance and quality
- Collect data, run instrumentation, and provide test documentation for engineering teams
- Inspect and test equipment to verify quality, performance, and safety per engineering specifications
- Maintain a safe, organized lab environment and follow standard operating procedures
Qualifications :
5+ years of Machining, model making, prototype fabrication or similar experienceProven experience with lathe, mills, and welding workKnowledge of CAE software such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabViewStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with lab or shop environmentsComfortable interpreting technical drawings and test proceduresApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Our Client Offers :
