As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and thorough observation. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions. Maintain a visible presence throughout various areas of the assigned retail or mall location while monitoring for security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols. Minimum Requirements : Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
