Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Specialist located in Tucson, AZ. As a Sales Specialist at THE FOLK SHOP, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Your day-to-day tasks will include identifying new business opportunities, promoting products and services, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Social Media work : under the direction of management will photograph, video and otherwise prepare posts for META, Instagram and other media as is fitting.
- Knowledge of the products or services offered by THE FOLK SHOP is a plus
- Advertising / public relations related activities : under the direction of management will prepare listings for web sites
- Retail sales assistance
- Minor instrument work : restring instruments and other tasks as needed
- Asist in behind-the-scenes support including : storeroom and showroom maintenance, store displays, inventory support and other activities as needed or directed by management
