Receiving Specialist
Location : Salem, NH
Pay Rate : $22 - $23 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary : We are currently seeking a motivated Receiving Specialist to join our Operations Department. This role is essential to the success of our logistics process and supports our team and clients by accurately and safely receiving and processing orders in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and process freight flow by unpacking, verifying, and documenting incoming merchandise
- Compare received items against Bills of Lading (BOL) or packing slips for accuracy
- Complete all necessary documentation for incoming shipments and coordinate with the Purchasing Department
- Generate and distribute receiving documents as needed
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects; log discrepancies or damages accurately
- Operate material handling equipment to load, unload, and move shipments
- Scan and move inventory both physically and through warehouse management systems
- Use purchase orders to properly receive items into inventory
- Support general warehouse operations and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in warehouse, shipping / receiving, or logistics preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle shifting prioritiesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilitiesSelf-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a teamExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including logistics, sales, engineering, and quality controlProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with CRM systemsStrong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvementAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment safelyCommitted to safety and compliant with OSHA and NIOSH standardsWhy Join Us?
