As a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) at The Queen's Medical Center, you'll be part of a highly skilled surgical team that serves patients from across Hawai'i and the Pacific Region.\n\nOur nationally recognized surgical program is a leader in robotic and minimally invasive procedures, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to perform complex surgeries. You'll work alongside expert surgeons, anesthesiologists, Certified Perioperative Nurses (CNOR), Certified Post Anesthesia Nurses (CPAN), Surgical Technologists, and Nursing Assistants—all dedicated to delivering exceptional care.\n\nAs an RNFA, you'll play a vital role in the operating room, assisting surgeons with tasks such as : \n

• Controlling bleeding\n
• Providing optimal wound exposure\n
• Suturing\n
• Performing other critical intraoperative functions\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
• Current Hawai'i RN license\n
• Graduate of a formal First Assist program\n
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR (must be maintained)\n
• Minimum of 3 years of perioperative nursing experience\n
• Must be able to take call\n
• Demonstrated excellence in : \n
• Interpersonal and communication skills\n
• Flexibility, sound judgment, and adaptability in decision-making\n
• Emergency management and team collaboration\n
