Job Summary :

Organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate  Neurologist  to join our dynamic and growing  Division of Neurology . Our department delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurological care, treating a wide spectrum of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care, working closely with other medical specialties to develop tailored treatment plans for our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and manage a variety of neurological conditions including stroke, seizures, migraines, movement disorders, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases.
• Perform thorough neurological evaluations and manage both acute and chronic cases in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with the Emergency Department to provide 24 / 7 medical evaluations for rapid stroke intervention, including administration of rt-PA.
• Order and interpret neuro-diagnostic studies including EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies, in partnership with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Utilize advanced imaging resources, including state-of-the-art CT and MRI technology, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain the hospital???s standards as a  New York State Department of Health Certified Primary Stroke Center .
• Document all clinical activity thoroughly and accurately using the hospital???s electronic medical records system.
• Contribute to the education and mentorship of residents or medical students (if applicable).
