Process Improvement Engineer

Join our Virtual Prototype Simulation System (VPSS) team by assisting the Sales Group injustifying fabrication equipment. Gather, analyze, and present customized cost justification reports directly to clients. Visit manufacturing shops to help identify product process improvements using a variety of Amada's proprietary software. The VPSS team maps out manufacturer's current workflow from print to part, evaluating and then recommending improvements in their process by applying new Amada machine tool technology. Requires 20% travel, mostly within the US.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and deliver effective customer presentations based on VPSS study data and findings.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product Specialists to build tailored proposals using Amada's marketing information and product knowledge.
• Present VPSS study results to customers in person and through virtual meetings.
• Lead sales teams during on-site VPSS data collection at customer facilities.
• Assist sales teams in gathering and processing information for VPSS projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by helping develop new processes and procedures.
