Continuous Improvement Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented CI Engineer to join our team at a G&W Electric in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing and engineering principles and will be responsible for implementing and driving business process improvements in order management operations to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize product quality.

As a CI Engineer you will :

• Identify Improvement Opportunities : Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement utilizing Lean Manufacturing and 8D problem solving methodologies.
• Problem Solving : Demonstrate and coach well-disciplined problem solving skills following 8d and 5 why style problem solving.
• Conduct Training : Provide training and support to team members on problem solving methods, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is fostered across the organization.
• Monitor Performance : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and identify further optimization opportunities.
• Lead Projects : Facilitate cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery of expected outcomes.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Data Analysis : Collect and analyze data to drive decision-making and problem-solving efforts in manufacturing processes.
• Conduct Kaizens : Perform kaizens to facilitate improvement in operations or office level projects focusing on problem solving and closing gaps.

What we offer you :

Typical pay is $72,980 – 94,915 annually.

Please note the pay information shown above is a general guideline. Pay is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.
