Full Time Warehouse Material Handler

Ryder is immediately hiring a Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona. Positions pay weekly with hourly pay of $16.50 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour when assigned to the second shift. Overtime pay is $24.75 per hour. The schedule is second shift from 12 : 00 pm to 8 : 30 pm Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one or more years of related warehouse and / or powered industrial truck experience, a valid forklift operator's license, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as a team, ability to work within a diverse work environment, and the ability to lift and / or push / pull up to 35 lbs. Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts and be detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities include performing warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting, dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment, providing technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system, and performing other duties as assigned.
