Warehouse Manager

Join a rapidly scaling operation aimed at tripling daily order throughput in a challenging warehouse environment. This role is pivotal in driving both quick wins and medium-term improvements, with the objective of scaling the team from 12,000 to 35,000 orders a day during peak periods.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with full-time employees to diagnose operational gaps, implement changes, and continuously improve processes, technology, and warehouse management systems.
• Hold third-party logistics (3PL) partners accountable by challenging assumptions and driving measurable improvements, stepping in directly when execution is lacking.
• Be present daily on the warehouse floor to identify inefficiencies through firsthand observations and translate them into sustainable, large-scale improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure data-driven decision making and practicality-driven scalability.
• Manage a 24 / 7 operation by living in close proximity to the warehouse and rotating alongside leadership in intensive 10-hour shifts, 6 days a week.

Work Environment :

Oversee operational performance at the Buena Park 3PL warehouse as it scales to peak volumes. Support the on-site team to ensure adherence to quality and accuracy standards. Coordinate closely with leadership on process optimization and staffing, providing hands-on support and leadership in resolving operational challenges. The role involves living near the warehouse and requires working intensive 10-hour shifts, 6 days a week.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Buena Park, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $100.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
