Schedule : 3x12s – Wednesday 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM, Thursday & Friday 8 : 30 AM – 11 : 00 PM; holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role provides diagnostic imaging support in a Level 1 Trauma Center , ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and compassionate care during varied day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities :

Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans, strictly following department protocols.

Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.

Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

Insert IVs when necessary for testing.

Position patients safely, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility, following safe patient handling protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure images are properly sent to PACS.

Keep the scanning area clean, safe, and organized.

Requirements :

Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology

ARRT Certification

NYS CT Licensure (must obtain prior to start)

Minimum 2 years CT experience

Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred :

Injection certification (willing to complete during orientation)

Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment

Soft Skills :

Effective written and verbal communication

Patient, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Team player with ability to maintain a cohesive work environment
