Job Description :

  • We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 17 or 21 and modern development tools.
  • 8 years of professional software development experience in Java
  • Proficient in Java 17 or 21 with solid knowledge of OOP and functional programming paradigms
  • Strong understanding of XML JSON and related parsing / serialization techniques
  • Comfortable working in IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code with AI code assist tools like GitHub Copilot
  • Solid experience with Git / Bitbucket for source control
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka IBM MQ or similar messaging middleware
  • Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle DB2) including query optimization and stored procedures
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams using tools like Jira
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience writing clear technical documentation
  • Preferred Qualification
  • Knowledge of Payments systems or financial services domain
  • Familiarity with ISO 20022 payments messaging standards
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines DevOps tools and testing frameworks
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices design
