About The Position

Job Title : Cath IR Rad Tech

Profession : Radiologic Technologist

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : State Radiologic Technologist License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have : Scrub into procedures with procedural physician and support intra-procedure workflows.

Description :

Seeking a Cath IR Radiologic Technologist for an interventional platform.

Facility features a 289 licensed bed capacity.

Designated as a Level II Trauma Center.

Serves as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.

Average daily patient census is 12-15.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Patient types include cardiac catheterization for coronary disease, STEMI, peripheral catheterization for peripheral artery disease, and various electrophysiology procedures.

Required skills include familiarity with cath / EP / IR supplies and equipment, radiation safety, and sterile technique.

Department support includes a manager, assistant manager, five other radiologic technologists, and eight registered nurses.

Technologies used include EPIC EMR and various specialized imaging equipment.

Schedule includes one weekend on-call per month and night call responsibilities of one to two nights per week.

Expectations include working one major holiday during the contract.

Requests for time off may be accommodated depending on the dates.

The department culture focuses on building a new team.

Scrub color will be provided by the facility.
