Our client is a local multidisciplinary civil engineering firm looking to add a Drainage-Water Resource Enginer to their team! This firm that provides planning, design, and management services for transportation infrastructure. They have a strong relationship-based culture coupled with responsive communication and action which makes them the consultant of choice for state and local governments.
Your Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field4+ years of previous drainage and / or water resources experienceLicensed Professional Engineer in SC, GA, or NC, or the ability to become licensed is preferred.Perform design and coordinate drainage preparation of plans and details using AutoCAD / Civil-3D, MicroStation, Bentley Design Software, GeoPAK Drainage and MS Office.Demonstrated work experience with hydrologic and hydraulic computer programs including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, SWMM, and ArcGIS.Your responsibilities :
Responsible for design efforts for transportation infrastructure and development projectsPreparation of technical studies and reports, engineering design concepts, construction plans, specifications, opinions of construction costsAssistance during construction phase services including field observationHave a thorough knowledge and application of all FHWA and state DOT design standards and specificationsThe ability to balance the need for independent and collaborative effortsPossess the ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovationWhat they have for you :
