Payer EDI Pharmacy Specialist

A company is looking for a Payer EDI Pharmacy Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary subject matter expert on NCPDP standards within the payer EDI business product team

Provide strategic and technical guidance to project teams for healthcare data exchange initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and refine VHA Payer EDI pharmacy data exchange standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, information technology, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Extensive experience (7+ years) in healthcare data exchange, payer systems, or pharmacy benefit management focused on EDI integration

Proven expertise in NCPDP standards and their application in payer and pharmacy data exchange

Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, data governance, and regulatory compliance requirements

Demonstrated ability to provide technical and functional guidance in a cross-functional team environment
