Test Engineer

DTSI is seeking a highly qualified Test Engineer to design and implement software test procedures used to validate software operations against a statement of requirements as directed by a DOD customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct rapid testing and deployment of System Support Services using distributed testing environments

Designs, implements and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met

Develops, maintains and upgrades test scripts and architectures for application products

Write, implement and report status for system test cases for testing based on system design specifications

Analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports

Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software / hardware applications

Ensures documentation is updated based on the new user requirements

Evaluates, recommends and implements automated test tools and strategies

Must be able to successfully design, document and execute test plans and test case

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

2+ years software development

4+ years' experience with common programming and scripting languages such as Microsoft .NET Framework, JavaScript, Oracle

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent years of experience

Active Top Secret (TS / SCI) security clearance

DoD 8140.03, IA Technician Level II certification (Security+)
