Your role at Clorox :

The professional in this role is responsible for leading and coordinating the plant supply chain and all plant operating departments within scope including Unloading, Blending, Processing, Extrusion, Slitting, Reclaim, Converting, Packaging, and Material Storage across all shifts. The Plant Operations Leader is responsible for safety, quality, production, cost, people development, team development, and performance management. Skills required include developing people, developing teams, championing safety, improving quality and service, delivering cost results, launching new product innovations, managing change and driving continuous improvement using operational excellence and TPM methodology. Deliver results by coaching and mentoring Operations Leaders, Process Engineers, Tech Managers and Team Leads to deliver KPI results to target.

In this role, you will :

Plant Operations Leader

Lead end-to-end plant operations and supply chain functions across multiple departments and shifts, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, production, and cost. This role oversees 300+ team members and drives continuous improvement through TPM / Lean methodologies.

Leadership & People Development

Oversee Manufacturing Operations of the facility, aiming for high performance with span of responsibility greater than 300 people. Support pay for skill development and career advancement within the team. Owns the Logistics & Material Management function in the plant. Provide coaching and training in establishing and implementing operations excellence principles (TPM / Lean) to delivery throughput, cost, and inventory improvement. Create and own an integrated master plan for implementation, including leadership activities, maintenance systems, sustaining processes, and other loss elimination tools. Connect Business, division and local imperatives to the operations excellence work within the function. Communicate effectively, lead implementation, and analyze and review results. Develop operations excellence expertise in others.

Business Processes and Activities

Monitor and prioritize production workflow to meet schedules and deadlines. Provide clear direction and schedules to the manufacturing department. Ensure compliance with professional standards, including occupational health and safety and customer requirements. Manage operations to achieve daily efficiencies in line with established standards. Facilitate and coach PDCA process within scope of responsibilities to drive results. Facilitate and coach Tier 1 / 2 / 3 process within scope of responsibilities to drive results. Champion User Driven Maintenance (Autonomous Maintenance) and Asset Care activities within scope of responsibilities to drive results. Implement ITFs (Implementation Task Force) across the site. Drive focused improvement project tools to eliminate losses. Review process improvements and provide recommendations for driving results. Address issues based on root cause analysis of deviations in key performance indicators. Apply operations excellence to company processes. Inculcate the use of operations excellence.

What we look for :

Key Responsibilities :

Direct manufacturing operations and logistics for a 24 / 7 facility. Coach and develop high-performing teams and leaders. Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence. Drive KPI performance in OEE, yield, waste reduction, and delivery. Lead change management, innovation launches, and process improvements.

Experience :

7+ years of manufacturing with experience in plant leadership roles. College 4-year degree Supply Chain or Engineering preferred. Equivalent experience is also considered. Proven experience managing large-scale operations. Strong leadership and people development skills. Expertise in Lean / TPM and continuous improvement. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver results. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards including FDA, USDA, OSHA, and food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Experience leveraging data and digital tools (ERP, WMS, CMMS) to optimize plant performance, inventory accuracy, and resource utilization.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. Zone A : $128,000 - $252,200 Zone B : $117,400 - $231,200 Zone C : $106,700 - $210,200 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
